Students in Year 7-10 had the opportunity to go on a mission trip to Cambodia in December 2015. This trip focussed on students actively building agricultural projects, in order to help people less fortunate to break the cycle of poverty. The projects funded and built by our students, provide Cambodian people with the opportunity to start an agricultural business in order to financially support their families. The trip also includes visiting exciting tourist locations.
We have partnered with the non-profit organisation Raw Impact. Please take a look at their website http://rawimpact.org/. Troy Roberts, the founder of this organisation, was born and raised in Darwin and attended Marrara Christian College. Troy began his working career as a lawyer in Sydney, but later found his passion for the people of Cambodia.
