Middle School Technology Rotations and Electives

Technology (Rotations and Electives)

Technology describes two distinct but related subjects:

  1. Design and Technology – using design thinking and technologies to generate and produce designed solutions.

2. Digital Technology – using computational thinking and information systems to design and utilise digital solutions.

Technology ensures that all students benefit from learning about and working with traditional, contemporary and emerging technologies that shape the world in which we live.

Students develop appreciation of the processes through which technologies are developed and how they contribute to societies.
