Plagiarism is the act of taking and using another person’s published or unpublished thoughts or ideas and claiming them as your own. PCS has a zero tolerance for plagiarism and have designed a plagiarism policy to enhance and enrich the academic and ethical education of students. All Middle School students receive explicit instruction regarding note-taking, citing sources, using direct quotes and writing a bibliography using Harvard style referencing in order to equip them with the knowledge and understanding to enable academic judgement and to develop integrity.
